Legal Notice

Codorníu S.A. (hereinafter the Promoter), a Spanish company, with corporate address at Avda. Jaume  Codorníu s/n. Sant Sadurní d´Anòia, Barcelona, 08770, Spain, is organizing this Promotion, called “LET’S CELEBRATE”.

This Promotion is open to UK residents, aged 18 years old or over with a valid Instagram account.

Employees of the Promoter, and their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally connected to this Promotion shall not be entitled to enter.

Participation in this Promotion is free of charge and no purchase is necessary.

The Promotion will be communicated to the participants via outdoor, digital and magazine campaigns.

These terms and conditions are available at the Promoter’s website on www.codorniuletscelebrate.com/uk 

Any person entering into or participating in this Promotion is deemed to have accepted and to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. Promotional period

Promotion is open from 1st October 2025 until 31st January 2026.

Winners’ selection by 31st January 2026.

  1. Entry and participation

During the promotional period, users will be invited to enter on the landing page www.codorniuletscelebrate.com/uk, where they will be asked if they are of legal age. Then, they will have to fill in a form with their personal details (see paragraph 6 for data privacy), their own Instagram account, and follow Codorníu’s account (@codorniuglobal) on Instagram. In addition to this, users will have to write a short paragraph describing an unforgettable moment they have experienced. The texts must have a minimum of 20 characters and a maximum of 250.

At the end of the promotional period, all the submitted participations will be evaluated (see paragraph 3).

Please note:

  • Texts must be clear.
  • 1 entry per person.
  • Texts must be written by the participant and not generated using AI tools.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and participants, including the participant’s identity, age and place of residence, and to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms and conditions or tampers with the registration process or the Promotion.

  1. WINNERS’ SELECTION

All the short texts submitted by entrants will be evaluated by a Panel of Judges selected by the Organizer. Texts will be evaluated against the following criteria:

  • Originality of the message - uniqueness, novelty and authenticity of ideas.
  • Relevance to the theme
  • Style

Each member of the Jury will evaluate the texts and assign a score for each of the above-mentioned criteria. The sum of the scores assigned to each entrant will be used to select 5 Winners and 10 reserve winners.

In the event of a tie, at any prize level, the tied entries will be re-judged by the judges using the same criteria. If there is a subsequent tie, tie breaker will be based upon the highest score in the first judging criterion, continuing thereafter to each judging criterion in order, as needed, to break the tie.

  1. PRIZES

Each winner will win 1 Fujifilm camera, valued at £ 129.39.

  1. WINNERS’ NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE DELIVERY

The winner will be contacted by email and will be required to respond within 10 calendar days with all contact details, a copy of the valid identity document of the winner. If an entrant is unable to take the prize or fails to respond with the specified timeframe, the entrant will be disqualified and the and the prize will be offered to a reserve entrant.

This process will be followed until reserves are available. The Promoter accepts no responsibility in the event that a winner cannot be contacted for any reason.

  • The Promoter does not bear liability for any loss caused by incorrect or inaccurate contact details.  
  • The Promoter is entitled to choose the delivery method of all prizes at its sole discretion. The Promoter is not responsible for any taxes, customs charges or other costs required for or related to receiving a prize. The Promoter will further not compensate any prize that cannot be redeemed or received by a winner due to customs or other local regulations or that is damaged, delayed or lost by postal, courier or other mail service.
  • Prizes will be sent to the winners by courier service.
  • Each winner is required to independently declare and pay any applicable taxes and charges that a prize gives rise to in the winner’s jurisdiction.
  • No prize is transferable and no prize may be claimed in cash or changed to another prize or arrangement.

However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside of the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, withdraw or substitute a prize for an alternative prize or arrangement.  

  1. PRIVACY

Information to be provided pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 (the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR)

Personal data provided voluntarily will be processed, primarily using electronic methods and analysis tools, including for statistical analysis, by Codorníu S.A., Avda. Jaume de Codorníu s/n. Sant Sadurní d’Anòia, Barcelona, 08770, Spain, for completion of all stages relating to the prize competition known as “Let’s celebrate”. In addition, it will be processed so as to comply with administrative regulations and other general obligations imposed by current law and by EU decisions, and stored for the period of time established by these regulations. It is obligatory to provide the data requested for the aforesaid purposes, and failing to do so will make it impossible to carry out management operations relating to the prize event and to comply with legal requirements.

The categories of personal data jointly used are name, surname, Instagram account, and email contact details. Participants are required to indicate their Instagram account for verification purposes. In the case of the winners, the phone number and postal address will be requested for the delivery of the prize.

Storage of data for competition management will be limited to the period required to complete its individual phases and in accordance with the provisions of the relevant legislation. Subsequently, the data will be anonymised to create statistical reports, and all identifying data will be destroyed.

The persons authorised for data processing are sales and marketing personnel, call centre staff, and IT systems and data security personnel.

Pursuant to Articles 15-21 GDPR, by writing to the controller at their postal address or by email export@raventoscodorniu.com, you may exercise your rights to consultation, modification, erasure and the right to be forgotten, the right to restriction of processing or to object to processing on legitimate grounds or for informational and promotional reasons, including via certain means of contact only (e.g.: email, home  and mobile phone, text message, by post). If not specific, the objection will be extended to all means of contact. Should you revoke your consent, which you may do at any time, it is understood that this shall not prejudice the legality of processing based on consent previously given or alternative mechanisms of consent provided by law. You also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authorities to enforce your rights. Again by writing to the postal address given above or by sending an email to export@raventoscodorniu.com, you may request a full and updated list of those responsible for data processing.

  1. REQUIREMENTS TO MATERIALS

  1. Any text sent on the promotion website must not contain profane language, racial or religious discrimination, violence, sexual acts, attacks on people or organizations or other indecent or inappropriate content.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right to moderate, reject or disqualify any submission or material, before or after publication, which, in its sole discretion, it determines to be indecent, offensive or inappropriate or which is otherwise inconsistent with the letter and spirit of the Promotion or which is potentially damaging to either the Promoter, the Promotion’s, or any third party’s image or reputation.  
  3. All submitted materials shall be original works created by a participant and will be moderated by the Promoter. By participating in the Promotion each participant confirms that:
  • Materials submitted by the participant do not infringe another person’s or entity’s copyright, trademark, moral right, right of privacy, or other intellectual property right;
  • No other person or entity has any right, title or interest in the material;
  • The participant has in no way assigned, licensed, disposed of or otherwise encumbered any of their rights that allow them to submit the materials;
  • The participant has obtained any and all releases and consents of third parties necessary to permit the submission and exhibition of the material in the manner set forth in these terms and conditions without additional compensation;
  • The material does not contain unlawful or illegal content or content contrary to the laws or regulations of the country where the Promotion is conducted and/or the jurisdiction where the material was created and/or submitted to the Promotion.  

Materials may only be submitted electronically. Other materials are not taken into consideration. Submitted materials will not be returned.

  1. In addition, materials uploaded must not:
  • Include visible trademarks, service marks, company names or other intellectual property rights;
  • Infringe upon someone’s privacy or integrity or depict someone in an unpleasant or embarrassing situation.
  1. A participant shall be liable for any costs, expenses and losses incurred by the Promoter due to the participant’s breach of the requirements related to the materials should the Promoter become the subject of an allegation, claim, legal action or proceeding due to such breach of these terms and conditions.
  2. All and any materials submitted to the Promotion become the sole property of the Promoter. The Promoter may use the materials at its own discretion in any manner without the obligation to pay remuneration for the use of the material to a participant.      

The winners’ names and submitted texts will be published exclusively on the official promotion website (www.codorniuletscelebrate.com/uk) for the purpose of communicating the results.

  1. General

  • Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions. By participating, you agree to be bound by these conditions.
  • Entry into this Promotion constitutes consent by the winners for the Promoter to use their names for publicity purposes.  Winners agree to take part in reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
  • The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury (including indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any entrant entering the Promotion or as a result of accepting any prize. However, nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any technical problems or human error that may result in a registration, submission or entry not being received or being lost or damaged or for any destruction or alteration thereof, or unauthorised access to the website.
  • The Promoter’s decisions regarding any aspect of this Promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter may refuse to award a prize to any person, for any reason.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, vary, cancel or suspend an element of a prize if, due to circumstances outside of its control, that element is no longer available. The Promoter will not be responsible for, or liable to any winner, if all or part of a prize is not available or must be varied or cancelled for any reason. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize or an element of the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts.
  • This Promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
  • If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter including because of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster), infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion,  the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this Promotion, as appropriate.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry, or if the entrant is engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion.  The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

The winners’ list will be made available between 1st February 2026 and 15th February 2026 on  www.codorniuletscelebrate.com/uk. The list will include the initial of the winner’s first name, full surname, and city of residence.

This Promotion shall be governed by UK law.
